Superior Search & Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit emergency response organization based in Houghton, Michigan. We serve the citizens and visitors of Houghton and Ontonagon counties, deploying strictly at the request of law enforcement and emergency management agencies.
We specialize in ground search and rescue, UAV support and mapping, disaster relief, and event emergency response planning. As a fully self-sufficient and NIMS-compliant team, we offer robust incident management (IMT), logistics, and communications capabilities.
Our team consists of highly trained volunteers dedicated to serving our community. All services are provided free of charge to both requesting agencies and the individuals we assist.
